I've decided to start developing a puzzle game with a theme around cyber security - this is in light of recent security breachers at Westminster and earlier on with the NHS with the Wannacry outbreak.
Technically, I'm working with Piskel for developing sprites and LibGDX as a platform (since it can target desktop, android, iOS and HTML) and currently Tiled for developing levels - these tools provide a pretty nice development workflow for rapid development - I was using GIMP and LibGDX to create Public Space Evaders. I'm hoping to make use of Ashley/ECS for controlling game logic.
I was hoping to try out Engo, but it doesn't seem to be quite stable enough for cross-platform development at this time.
